Charlie Noton (principal consultant)

Charlie Noton has been operating within the arboricultural industry for 12 years, being deeply interested in trees and their influence within the environment. Originally trained as an arborist Charlie Noton decided to develop his own business dedicated to the ongoing protection and preservation of trees.

Tree Research Ltd has grown into an established and recognised practice having gained extensive experience in both the public and private sectors.

Charlie has over 6 years experience in undertaking and managing surveys of large tree populations with a particular focus on development site surveys, Currently Charlie is consulting for Wiltshire Council on all its school developments within the county.

Charlie's experience gives him a thorough insight into tree/building relationships, the planning process and legal framework relating to trees.

Charlie is currently studying for the professional diploma in Arboriculture (level 6) having initially gained the Royal Forestry Society Certificate in Arboriculture and is qualified as a professional tree inspector under the government training body LANTRA (Sector Skills Council). Charlie is also a member of the industry's leading bodies Royal Forestry Society and the Arboricultural Association.

The practice carries Professional Indemnity Insurance to £1million.
