Tree Research

Social Responsibility

Tree Research takes an environmentally friendly approach, with the majority of its work being in ecologically sensitive areas.

50% of our ancient woodland has been destroyed and with it many species vital to our delicate ecology, this combined with human induced climate change and the need for replanting programs becomes more prevalent, society is recognising its social responsibility to raise awareness and replace, and were possible restore our native woodlands.

The consultant has a responsibility to make recommendations that benefit the environment as well as the tree and the client.

The business seeks to promote environmentally sound practices such as the leaving of dead or fallen timber, to complete the lifecycle of wood and protect the wealth of bio-diversity within our native woodland and encourage the installation of bird and bat boxes in the appropriate trees.

The business uses only biodegradable oils and all office products and promotional material uses recycled paper. These small actions will have effects throughout the global environment and help lay the foundations of a sustainable economy.

The business where possible recycles all waste materials, storing woodchip to be used as biomass and promotes the planting of eucalyptus or willow for biomass, which will play an important role in the future of farming in this country.
We aim to switch to sustainable minimal pollutant fuels for vehicles such as Bio diesel or LPG.

Furthermore we will be looking into strategically associating ourselves with non-profitable organizations that promote sustainable management of trees around the world.
