50 million trees needed per year to achieve zero carbon emissions 2050 / by Charlie Noton

In May 2019, the Committee on Climate Change produced a report ‘Net Zero – The UK’s contribution to stopping global warming’. The report recommends a new emissions target for the UK: net-zero greenhouse gases by 2050, but advises new policies will need introducing to meet this.
